Indian Pesto Pizza

This Pizza is different from the usual one that has a traditional tomato sauce on the base.  I have tried to make this more nutritional by adding some green herbs and peanuts in the sauce. Children seem to love this pizza as it gives a colourful appeal with green  and red veggies on it.



Ingredients
Whole wheat pizza base
For the sauce
Mint leaves (Pudina) – 1 Bunch
Coriander leaves – 1 Bunch
Soaked Peanuts – ½ cup
Garlic – 4-5
Green chillies - 2
salt to taste
Lemon juice – 2 tsp
Sliced tomatoes, sliced capsicum, mushrooms, corn and pizza cheese-As required
Mix all the ingredients of the sauce adding only a little water to make a thick consistency.
Spread the sauce over the pizza base spread the slices on the pizza and top with grated pizza cheese.
Sprinkle pizza masala or crushed oregano / chilli flakes.

Bake in a hot oven or on a tava, covered till the base is crisp and till the cheese melts.

Enjoy this pizza warm, cut into quarters and served .
